Unlike satellite communications, HF radio communications covering the 1.5 TO 30MHz range are independed and self-controlled, assuring military and other widely-deployed organizations with reliable long-range radio communications.
In the battle space, HF communications are utilized for long-range C2, making this frequency band applicable for both tactical and strategic communications.
