The ANGI-HUD project will contribute to the analysis of potential new functionalities, prototype the intended new Man Machine Interface (MMI), provide the Airframer with two representative HUD systems, including rapid prototyping capacities, and participate in, and support, bench tests at the Airframer’s simulation facilities.
The project will utilize existing bizjet HUDs for the adaptation to the simulator environment.
The ANGI-HUD project will assess and analyze how its novel HUD intelligent functionalities can be fully integrated into this next generation cockpit concept so that the efficiencies of the newly researched technologies and concepts can be maximized. Furthermore, optimum performance of the cockpit operations in general is aimed at implicitly contributing to the Clean Sky 2 overall objectives in a best possible way.
