Hermes 45 is a Multi-Mission Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (STUAS) designed for land and maritime operations with a wide range of advanced payloads.
With a small tactical footprint, extended range and duration, Hermes 45 is designed to support the higher tactical echelon, providing intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) missions requiring long endurance. It is the most effective UAS today for area dominance and terrain analysis.
The Hermes 45 Multi-Mission STUAS enables advanced ISR and EW missions with a line-of-sight flight range of 200 km or extended BLOS range (SATCOM) with flight time up to 22 hours. Its unique internal payload bay supports up to 20 kg of mission equipment including EO/IR, Marine-Radar, Terrain-Dominance Sensor, ELINT, COMINT, VHF/UHF com relay and others, in a multi-payload configuration.
Deployable by only two operators, the Hermes 45 is easily launched from land and maritime platforms. Precision automatic recovery of the Hermes 45 is completed without a landing strip or large landing area. The entire turnaround process, from recovery to re-launch, takes less than 30 minutes.
